Original Threshing Barn is over 300 years old

Gildings Barns consists of several interconnecting oak-framed beamed barns

The main Gildings Barn was hand-built by local salvaged wood after the storms of 1987

Corporate Retreat

Gildings Barns offer a unique setting for a quiet, comfortable retreat to discuss business strategy or for an opportunity to bond with colleagues.

Our Event Management Team work closely with you supporting the planning of your bespoke event.

The stunning barns provide scope for large and small gatherings, including breakout spaces for group tasks.

With over 20 acres of private grounds there is excellent opportunity and space for outdoor activities and team challenges.

We understand the distractions and clutter of the office working environment, so why not escape to the calm environment of Gildings Barns.

Whether it is a corporate event, a meeting, training program, team building day or conference, Gildings Barns can cater for all.

Caterers

We have selected outstanding local caterers to work with us at Gildings rather than restricting you to just one.

You can choose one of our Catering Partners below to advise you in creating a personal menu that incorporates some of your favourite foods.

Whether you want formal catering, informal catering such as a hog roast or BBQ, or something in between, we know from experience that any of our Catering Partners will have your staff and guests recalling their sensational, mouth-watering creations a long time after the event.

All our caterers can accommodate all dietary requirements (vegan, GF, nut-free, dairy-free, etc).

Bar

The Drinkery by Browns Kitchen.

Welcome to The Drinkery - Gildings Barns Premium Bar Service.

They will provide a fully stocked pay bar for your wedding or event at the barns.

They supply everything you need to ‘wow' your guests, from a stylish looking bar structure, trained/uniformed staff,

an extensive product list, dedicated Gin Bar with local and interesting blends, Craft Beers, Real Ales, Cocktails and much much more…

Event Planning

Our Event Management Team work closely with you supporting the planning of your bespoke event.

Day-of Coordination

A member of the Gildings Barns Team will be onsite throughout your event and your chosen Caterers will supply staff to serve you throughout the day.

Security

Gildings Barns is only accessible through a keypad electric gate therefore is completely secure.

Full Day Hire - (8.30am-11pm)

Full Daytime Hire - (8.30am-5.30pm)

Half Day Hire - (8.30am-1pm or 1pm to 5.30pm)

Weekly/Monthly Hire rates available too

Entertainment

We have our own in-house DJ - The Award Winning DJ2K which we would ask you to use.

Our Music Agency is approved to perform at Gildings Barns and have received high recommendations from our clients.

You are welcome to use them for your event at Gildings Barns.

If you wish to use others performers/entertainment acts please obtain approval from the Gildings Barns first.

Please note that Gildings Barns is not suitable for rock bands or groups of more than four and these are therefore unfortunately not permitted.

Team Building

We have teamed up with a local family run business who specialises in creating unique outdoor activities and events for all types of corporate groups.

Activities include:

Team Building Days, It's A Knockout, Mobile Climbing Walls, Segway Hire, Crazy Golf, Archery, Country Pursuits,

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, Abseiling Tower, Laser Tag, Off Road Buggies and lots more.

If you wish to continue after your meeting we can arrange Team Building Events for the afternoon

and the finish with drinks and a Hog Roast or BBQ from one of our Catering Partners.

 

 

Tasting Experiences

Do you want to learn more about gin, wine or beer in a few hours?

This tasting session will start you on your journey of discovery.

You will taste excellent gin, wines and beers from around the world and get many helpful pointers that will enhance your appreciation. 

This event is perfect for people who are new to tasting and just want to have a bit of fun learning more.

Why not add some locally award winning cheeses, meat platters or fish board to complement your experience?

We can also arrange Grazing Platters ideal for sharing; 8 or 16 people per platter.

Gin Tasting 

Your very own “Ginstructor” will guide you through a selection of craft gins and expand your understanding of the various flavour profiles.

 From London Dry Gin & Old Tom Gin to infused and flavoured Gins you will certainly experience gin at its best!

Wine Tasting

Your personal Sommelier will give you the opportunity to sample a range of wines in a relaxed and fun environment.

Beer Tasting

In partnership with the award-winning local pub The Surrey Oaks and run by their own beer master, they are in the unique position to offer you an event like no other.  They can source any quality beer locally or worldwide and from any brewery that you would like to make this event personal to your tastes.
